Holy Trinity Lutheran Church women working on Project Joanna - making turbans for women cancer victims. Project Joanna will reach the un-reached cancer victim at a time of much spiritual, emotional and physical need.

Dear Friends in Christ,

Most women lose all of their hair when they undergo cancer treatment. The American Cancer Society recommends turbans to cover the patient's bald head.

Please join us in Project Joanna, sewing and distributing Chemo-Therapy Turbans to those in your community suffering through cancer therapy.  You help will make this program a "light that shines" in your community, so that many may "see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven". (Matthew 5:16)

Mission

The purpose of Project Joanna is two-fold.  One is to "love your neighbor" and the other is "The Great Commission" (Matthew 28:19-20).  By providing protective turbans, we show our love and concern.  We pray anonymously for each person that receives this gift and ask if we may pray for them by name.  We also ask if we may call on them, thus opening the door for further evangelism.
